About The Position

We are seeking a Senior Cybersecurity Engineer to provide Systems Engineering and Technical Assistance (SETA) Professional Support Services for the Department of Defense Cyber Crime Center (DC3) in Linthicum Heights, MD. Requirements

  • Authorization to work in the United States permanently without sponsorship.
  • Master’s degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or related field + 10 years relevant experience OR Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or related field + 18 years relevant experience OR 22 years relevant experience.
  • Active Top Secret/SCI clearance.
  • CISSP or equivalent certification.
  • 5+ years leading cybersecurity teams in DoD environment.
  • Experience in incident response, vulnerability management, and threat analysis.
  • Experience managing teams of 10+ personnel.
  • Experience managing large-scale projects ($10M+).

Responsibilities

  • Provide expert technical guidance on securing systems, networks, and data against cyber threats.
  • Act as a trusted advisor (SETA), helping plan, evaluate, and improve cybersecurity tools, architectures, and operations while ensuring solutions meet mission and compliance requirements.
  • Collaborate with government teams and contractors to strengthen defenses, investigate vulnerabilities, and support cyber crime analysis efforts.
  • Provide engineering and technical enterprise services including feasibility studies, analysis of alternatives, and technical evaluations.
  • Support system integration, sustainment, infrastructure lifecycle management, and reliability improvements.
  • Perform root cause analysis, incident/problem management, and continuous system improvement.
  • Support change management, release management, and configuration control processes.
  • Provide architecture recommendations and modernization support across DoD cyber environments.
  • Conduct studies, assessments, and evaluations of cyber technologies and capabilities.
  • Support test engineering, DevOps/Agile processes, and system lifecycle testing.
  • Perform cyber operations analysis and intelligence support using all-source data.
  • Support R&D efforts, including test and evaluation and capability development.
  • Provide technical and enterprise project management support (scheduling, risk, resources).
