About The Position

Valkyrie Enterprises has an immediate opening for a Senior Cyber Test Engineer to support the STRIKE Test and Evaluation Team in Huntsville, AL. This role is the primary leader of cyber testing for multiple weapon systems, including CVPA, AA, and tabletops, focusing on weapon system cyber testing rather than network security and cyber compliance. The engineer will formulate cyber engineering assessment needs, define cyber test objectives, evaluate cyber test plans, manage and participate in cyber test execution, and assess mitigation plans for cyber deficiencies and system-level cyber risks. Responsibilities also include participating in technical reviews and Technical Interchange Meetings to assess proposed engineering changes for cyber engineering impacts, identifying cyber vulnerabilities, examining attack paths, evaluating operational cyber defense capabilities, and performing cybersecurity supply chain assessments.

Requirements

  • 10 years related technical experience plus Master's degree, or 12 years related technical experience with Bachelor's degree (BS or BA).
  • 2 years experience in weapon system cyber testing (not network compliance and RMF); this experience can coincide with the 10 years above.
  • Active DoD Top Secret security clearance, or active Secret clearance with available Top Secret clearance.
  • Must have an Active DoD Secret clearance and the ability to maintain a clearance.
  • Must be able to obtain an Active DoD Top Secret Clearance.
  • If position requires travel by domestic flight or access to secure federal facilities/military bases, candidate must be able to obtain (by start of position) and maintain appropriate identification credentials, such as REAL ID.

  • Top Secret Clearance, preferred.
