Amentum is seeking a Senior Cyber Threat Analyst to support their U.S. Department of Energy and Counterintelligence (DOE-IN) contract. Positions will be based in the Washington, D.C area. Responsibilities include serving as a Cyber Threat Analyst, providing integrated CI cyber-technical analytic expertise supporting the DOE Counterintelligence Directorate. This involves conducting cyber analytical activities, evaluating information/technical/physical security systems and practices, performing cyber investigations, and related duties. The role requires identifying, investigating, and analyzing cyber events of CI significance, adapting and developing tools for applying standard cyber security and analysis practices to the CI mission, and performing all-source intelligence analysis to determine and report on system characteristics and project objectives. The analyst will analyze classified and unclassified networks to identify security vulnerabilities and intrusion detection parameters, report on changes, trends, and implications of evolving issues, collect data, analyze results, and prepare reports. Integration of research results and analysis into operations, and establishing liaison with DOE offices, the USIC, and law enforcement agencies are also key responsibilities.
