About The Position

Abile Group has an exciting and challenging opportunity for a Senior Cyber Security Engineer on a long term contract providing Cyber Security services supporting an Intelligence Community customer. All the personnel on the team will work together to provide security services and capabilities necessary to ensure IT services provided to the IC customer workforce are secure. This includes Identity and Access Control Infrastructure Operations, Cross Domain Infrastructure Operations, Cyber Security Infrastructure Operations, Cyber Security Operations, Information Technology (IT) Audit Infrastructure, and Security Infrastructure Operations. The right candidate will possess the below skills and qualifications and be ready to handle all responsibilities independently and professionally.

Requirements

  • Must possess an active TS/SCI w/ a CI polygraph.
  • Bachelor’s degree, or 4+ additional years of cybersecurity experience in lieu of a degree.
  • 5+ years of cyber experience.
  • IAT Level II certification (GSEC, Security+, SSCP, or CCNA-Security) or ability to obtain within 6 months of hire.
  • Experience with technologies involved in large-scale enterprise network deployments and data centers.
  • Experience deploying and/or supporting enterprise security software products such as firewalls, IPS, anti-virus solutions, application firewalls, high availability solutions, network management systems, and virtual systems.
  • Knowledge of Windows and Linux systems, general operating system security practices, TCP/IP networking, 802.1x, and network security concepts.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience implementing and using complex software products involving multiple integrated components.
  • Real-time, enterprise-level C2C expertise including vendor-agnostic services, opensource trends, and proficiency in DoD integration, engineering, and sustainment processes.
  • Experience with Cisco Identity Services Engine (ISE)
  • Experience with tools such as Nmap, Nessus, and tcpdump.

Responsibilities

  • Engineers, designs, implements, integrates, and sustains Comply-to-Connect (C2C) deployment support to migrate, deploy, improve, and maintain C2C services.
  • Manages and maintains appliances, applications, servers, and supporting infrastructure in both classified and unclassified environments.
  • Coordinates with the network service provider to develop and maintain network architecture diagrams.
  • Evaluates and recommends changes and/or technology upgrades to address performance, standardization, and industry best practices.
  • Monitors and investigates C2C performance and faults and recommend improvements.
  • Interacts with other team members and customers at multiple levels to gather, supply, or coordinate information.
  • Supports Assessment and Authorization activities related to cybersecurity technologies, where applicable.
