Technica Corporation is seeking a highly motivated, dynamic, self-directed individual to fill the Air Force Base Infrastructure Modernization (BIM) Senior Cyber Security Engineer position. This position will support a Department of the Air Force (DAF) program. The ideal candidate is a recognized cybersecurity authority with advanced technical expertise in the Department of War (DoW) Risk Management Framework (RMF) process and experience collaborating with the government to design and maintain secure, complex solutions. This role requires deep knowledge of the strategies, principles, and policies that guide how the DoW conducts operations in cyberspace to achieve security objectives, DISA STIGs, and cybersecurity best practices.

Requirements

  • Active Secret clearance with TS/SCI eligibility
  • Bachelor’s in IT, Information Systems, or Computer Science, and/or equivalent experience and education.
  • Active TS/SCI Clearance.
  • 5 years of experience supporting operational systems and networks.
  • Certifications or equivalent expertise in Windows OS, UNIX OS, ACAS, HBSS, Juniper JunOS, ArubaOS, CASP+, CISSP, or CEH.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain and update RMF packages and cybersecurity requirements for all supported enclaves.
  • Coordinate with the appropriate DAF personnel to support the Authority to Operate (ATO) approval for each enclave.
  • Interact with DAF RMF personnel and participate in cybersecurity meetings.
  • Recommend improvements to system information security, including access controls and safeguards.
  • Review network operations support procedures, enhance processes, and ensure compliance with security policies and regulations.
  • Advise leadership on security policies, provide training, and mentor personnel.
  • Implement and maintain user access and password controls.
  • Apply cybersecurity policies in system delivery, installation, and maintenance.
  • Ensure network configurations and hardware installations comply with security standards.
  • Manage trouble tickets and coordinate the resolution of security issues.
  • Evaluate, administer, and monitor network access controls for wired and wireless infrastructure to ensure compliance with DAF comply-to-connect policies.
  • Serve as a focal point for program information security matters.
  • Conduct risk analyses and maintain certification/accreditation packages.
  • Support security tests, incident investigations, audits, and reviews.
  • Lead development and maintenance of contingency and disaster recovery plans.
  • Coordinate with configuration management to resolve security issues before software changes.
  • Perform information assurance and security control compliance inspections.
