This opportunity resides with Warfare Systems (WS), a business group within HII’s Mission Technologies division. Warfare Systems comprises cyber and mission IT; electronic warfare; and C5ISR systems. HII works within our nation’s intelligence and cyber operations communities to defend our interests in cyberspace and anticipate emerging threats. Our capabilities range from C5ISR, AI and Big Data, cyber operations and synthetic training environments to fleet sustainment, environmental remediation and the largest family of unmanned underwater vehicles in every class. HII – Mission Technologies is seeking SME level Cyberspace Operations Planners to join our Cyber & Intelligence team in support of a high-impact mission at Fort Meade. In this role, you will provide strategic guidance and operational planning expertise to advance cyberspace capabilities and joint mission integration. This role is part of a pending contract proposal. We are actively interviewing to identify qualified candidates in anticipation of a successful award.

Requirements

  • 7 years relevant experience with Bachelors in related field; 3 years relevant experience with Masters in related field; 0 years experience with PhD or Juris Doctorate in related field; or High School Diploma or equivalent and 9 years relevant experience.
  • Must possess an active TS/SCI/Polygraph for consideration

Nice To Haves

  • Develop support concepts and multiple courses of action to address complex cyberspace operational challenges.
  • Experience providing strategic counsel to senior executives on operational matters.
  • Integrate command-level and external partner capabilities into cohesive, mission-aligned plans.
  • Coordinate and document comprehensive operational strategies that align with joint planning standards.
  • Apply expert knowledge of cyber threats, attack vectors, and tactics employed by both state and non-state actors, with emphasis on vulnerabilities within Blue Space.
  • Synchronize intelligence planning activities with operational timelines to ensure timely, actionable insights inform mission execution.
  • Experience speciic to cyber operations missions across operational lines.

Responsibilities

  • Oversees all phases of the project from transition through completion.
  • Manages project cost, schedule, and technical performance.
  • Serves as the on‑site manager and primary customer point of contact for all project activities.
  • Handles operational issues and oversees personnel and resource management.
  • Identifies project challenges and drives effective solutions.
  • Coordinates on‑site activities and interfaces with external organizations.
