About The Position

Accenture Federal Services is looking for an experienced Cyber Operations Planner to serve as a senior member of our team to support the planning, development, execution, and analysis of full spectrum cyber operations in support of our National Defense.

Requirements

7 years of experience as a Cyberspace Operations Planner with BA/BS, or 5 years with MS/MA, or 3 years with Ph.D., or 10 years of experience in lieu of a degree with high school diploma
Working knowledge of Joint Operations Planning and systems
Education or experience with military joint operations planning through Joint Professional Military Education Phase II (JPME II) from a CJCS-accredited joint education program listed in CJCSI 1800.01E; JIOPC or similar military operations planning courses may be substituted for JPME II
DoD 8140-aligned qualification for the applicable planner work role
Must have an active TS/SCI with polygraph level clearance

Nice To Haves

Experience across multiple planning disciplines (cyber effects, cyber fires, cyber access, cyber targeting) rather than a single specialization
Knowledge of the Cyber Tasking Cycle (CTC), Cyber Tasking Orders (CTOs), and target intelligence coordination processes
Knowledge of Cyber Effects and Information Operations (IO)/Information Advantage Operations planning and execution
Experience with Joint Cyber Operations in support of National Defense
Demonstrated initiative and prior experience mentoring or leading junior/journeyman planning staff
Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to work independently under compressed timelines

Responsibilities

Develops plans, orders, CONPLANs, OPLANs, and OPORDs supporting Cyber operations
Leads the OPORD process from concept through orders generation, applying operational art and operational design under Joint Operations Planning environments
Integrates cyberspace capabilities, cyber effects into deliberate, contingency, campaign, and crisis action plans in coordination with Joint Planning Groups (JPGs) and Operational Planning Teams (OPTs)
Provides cyber access planning expertise, applying in-depth technical understanding of APT networks and cyber assets to support capability pairing, and threat mitigation coordination for Joint and Coalition operations
Engages directly with operators, mission leads, and technical directors to ensure plans and orders reflect current operational realities, constraints, and mission requirements
Directs gap analysis, operational assessment, and analysis efforts, and executes or supervises technical research and analysis products, executive summaries, and planning design briefings for senior leadership
Monitors and reviews strategy, doctrine, policy, and higher-echelon guidance, making recommendations to ensure planning compliance and incorporate emerging cyberspace considerations
Supports development of exercise scenarios, operational plans, and supporting documentation to achieve exercise training priorities
Mentors journeyman and mid-level planners, reviewing plans and products for technical accuracy and compliance prior to leadership submission
