About The Position

The Senior Custodian provides custodial services at assigned sites, ensuring an attractive, sanitary and safe environment for students, faculty, staff and visitors. This role involves performing a variety of special cleaning operations and overseeing the preparation of facilities for classroom activities and campus events. The position performs skilled and semi-skilled cleaning, housekeeping, and general maintenance duties in assigned areas. Additionally, the Senior Custodian exercises care and caution in the use of supplies and equipment while performing custodial tasks. This position is classified as an Essential Services Employee, responsible for maintaining business operations, supporting physical operations, and ensuring campus safety. The role involves performing various operations and services essential to maintaining critical infrastructure and ensuring continuous operations.
