We are seeking a Senior Credit Risk Analyst. This is a key role with significant and broad responsibilities and reports to the Sr. Manager of Credit Policy. Responsible for leading credit portfolio analysis, driving strategy development, and delivering actionable insights that influence business decisions. This position will be responsible for owning strategy on core products and driving growth while managing portfolio risk exposure. This role is based in our Plano, TX office on a hybrid schedule. Key responsibilites are as follows: Lead analysis of credit portfolio performance, including delinquency, charge-offs, and profitability trends. Develop, test, and recommend credit strategies and policy changes to optimize portfolio performance. Partner with the data science team to evaluate model performance, outputs, and business impact. Translate analytical findings into clear, actionable recommendations for stakeholders. Design and oversee development of dashboards and reporting to monitor key risk metrics. Use SQL and analytical tools to extract, manipulate, and analyze large datasets. Identify emerging risks and proactively recommend mitigation strategies. Collaborate cross-functionally with underwriting, finance, operations, and marketing teams.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative discipline is required, advanced degree is attractive.
  • 3-4 years in an analyst role working on data-driven problem solving.
  • Strong experience with SQL and data analysis.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
  • Experience with Python or R.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with data visualization or dashboarding tools like Tableau or PowerBI
