Due to growth, Bank of Luxemburg is looking to add a Senior Credit Analyst to our Credit team! As a Senior Credit Analyst, you’ll play a vital role in supporting our lenders, customers, and leadership team by delivering high‑quality credit analysis that strengthens our loan decisions and supports responsible growth. In this role, you will review and analyze complex financial information to assess creditworthiness and support sound lending decisions. You’ll prepare comprehensive loan presentations used by loan officers, senior management, and the Board of Directors, ensuring accuracy, clarity, and alignment with bank policy. As a trusted resource, you’ll also provide insights, recommendations, and risk ratings that help guide the bank’s credit strategy.
Requirements
- 5–7 years of progressive credit analysis experience in a commercial lending environment.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Management, Economics, or equivalent experience.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
- Strong financial analysis, problem‑solving, and time‑management abilities.
- Clear verbal and written communication skills and a collaborative mindset.
Responsibilities
- Prepare detailed analyses for new, renewal, and complex commercial loan requests.
- Review tax returns, financial statements, cash flow, collateral, and credit reports to determine repayment ability.
- Verify lending limits, risk ratings, and adherence to bank policies and regulatory expectations.
- Present findings, offer opinions, and occasionally join client meetings to review financial information.
- Assist with internal/external audits, stress testing, and special projects that enhance bank processes.
