About The Position

This full-time position will focus primarily on providing all loan officer staff with appropriate administrative and detailed financial analysis support required to provide sound loan package presentations while maintaining compliance within Loan Policy guidelines. Conversion of customer financial statements into standard spreadsheet form, conducting analyses, and providing the loan officers with feedback are also critical elements to this position. In addition, this position will be responsible for reviewing major credits for quality, documentation, and capacity, and grading such credits within Loan Policy/Loan Review guidelines.

Requirements

• Basic knowledge of commercial, construction, real estate, and consumer loan processing.
• Basic knowledge of related state and federal loan regulations and bank lending policies.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.
• Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Analytical abilities.
• Computer proficiencies in Word and Excel.
• Ability to utilize the internet efficiently for research.
• Minimum of a bachelor’s degree with a study area in accounting, finance, and/or business.
• At least twelve hours of accounting courses.
• At least two years of related experience in credit analysis at a financial institution.

Nice To Haves

• Previous experience using Sageworks.
• More than two years of experience, knowledge and training in financial statement and tax return analysis typically resulting from a combination of education in accounting, financial and/or credit analysis or related areas.
