About The Position
Extreme Music, a subsidiary of Sony Music Publishing, is seeking a Senior Creative Sync Specialist to serve as an account representative for East Coast clients in the advertising, promos, trailers, brands, digital, and post-production industries. This role focuses on servicing client needs through music searches, file delivery, and account management, while also negotiating synchronization licenses and driving placements in relevant productions.
Requirements
- Established relationships with NY-based Ad agencies.
- 3 or more years of experience in a sales capacity as a sync rep.
- Passionate about music with some musical background or musical ear.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Comfort with a high volume of outbound correspondence.
- Exceptionally organized, meticulous, and detail-oriented.
- Ability to consistently work under pressure in a professional manner.
- Excellent problem-solving skills.
- Self-motivated and enthusiastic.
- Demonstrated experience working effectively in a diverse environment.
- Willing to travel if needed.
- Proficient in MS Word, Excel, and Outlook.
Nice To Haves
- Experience using CRM a plus.
Responsibilities
- Provide exceptional service to assigned clients, including music searches, music file delivery, and account management.
- Build and maintain client relationships through regular outreach via phone, email, and in-person meetings.
- Deliver consistently against monthly and annual sales targets.
- Negotiate synchronization licenses, including fees and terms.
- Spearhead efforts to secure placements in all relevant productions.
- Consistently meet KPIs.
- Interpret music briefs and perform music searches.
- Anticipate client music needs and proactively provide new and existing releases.
- Educate potential users on music formats and catalog access, performing off-site and virtual web demos.
- Provide feedback on the catalog and ideas for new releases based on production trends and client requests.
- Participate in the planning, coordinating, and execution of client events.
- Collaborate with management on ideas and suggestions for client outreach and interactions.
