We’re looking for a Senior Creative Copywriter to join Canadian Tire’s In-House Content & Creative team. This role is for a copy creative who brings editorial rigour, a sharp instinct for brand storytelling and a clear point of view on what great retail and ecommerce copy looks like. Reporting to the Manager, Creative Copy & Content, this role will help define, refine and champion our tone of voice across brand campaigns and ecommerce experiences. You’ll partner closely with writers, designers, marketers and channel teams to make every word clear, consistent, compelling and unmistakably on brand. You’ll communicate with confidence—turning editorial decisions into crisp, constructive direction that moves the work forward. This role blends hands-on writing with editorial leadership and governance—perfect for someone who obsesses over details, understands how brand systems scale and can guide work from brief to final execution without sacrificing speed. The role also embraces AI-enabled tools as part of a modern, efficient editorial workflow, assisting with AI integration for copy assets and helping create agents and prompts for quick, templated copy ads. This position involves daily copy governance, juggling a schedule that includes over 100 assets per week.
