Senior CQV Engineer - Oral Solid Dose and Spray Drying
About The Position
Two Senior CQV Engineers are sought for a multi-year greenfield pharmaceutical program in Carolina, Puerto Rico. The roles will help bring a new oral solid dose (OSD) and spray-dried dispersion (SDD) facility to life by commissioning, qualifying, and verifying equipment, including tablet presses, coaters, dispensing systems, spray dryers, and associated equipment. The engineers will also support equipment startup, prepare technical documentation, and assist other CQV areas as needed. This is a 60-month contract with a possible extension. The schedule is administrative, Monday through Friday, on site five days per week. The planned start date is January 4, 2027.
Requirements
- 10 or more years of CQV experience in pharmaceutical manufacturing.
- Hands-on experience with oral solid dose and/or spray-drying equipment.
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a Life Science.
Nice To Haves
- Experience with both oral solid dose and spray-drying equipment is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Commission, qualify, and verify oral solid dose equipment, including tablet presses, coaters, and dispensing systems.
- Commission, qualify, and verify spray-dried dispersion systems, spray dryers, and associated equipment.
- Support equipment startup.
- Write technical documentation.
