Senior CPU Engineer
About The Position
This individual independently plans, performs the moderately-defined responsibility for the overseeing of innovative CPU design efforts that have a critical impact on industries across the world. Interfaces with all disciplines to design, verify, and implement multi-core Computer Processing Unit (CPU) operations for QCT. Applies CPU architectural, micro-architecture, and physical design concepts to deliver high performance and low power CPUs. Evaluates all aspects of the design process from concept to productization that meet customer and industry standards. Acts as a strong contributor at design reviews and project meetings.
Requirements
- Master's Degree (or foreign academic equivalent) in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science or related degree field
- Experience in CPU design, verification, and implementation
- Knowledge of CPU architectural, micro-architecture, and physical design concepts
- Ability to deliver high performance and low power CPUs
- Experience evaluating the design process from concept to productization
- Ability to meet customer and industry standards
- Strong contributor at design reviews and project meetings
