About The Position

Accenture Infrastructure & Capital Projects is seeking a Senior Cost Manager to help develop and deliver factories, grids, transit systems, and public infrastructure. This role involves working with project managers, engineers, technologists, and strategists to transform how capital projects are planned, managed, and executed using digital innovation and AI. The company emphasizes building for the future and outperforming norms. Depending on the role and location, applications may be directed through different Accenture legal entities, with benefits varying by country and role.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, Data Analytics or another cost / construction focused field.
• 4+ years of minimum cost management experience.
• Strong understanding of Cost Management (cost reports, change orders, cash flows etc.).
• Minimum five (5) years of experience in cost estimating or quantity surveying.
• Proficient in the use of advanced functions in CostX to produce estimates, bills, etc.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word & PowerPoint) at an appropriate level.

Responsibilities

• Prepare cost estimates, cost plans, and benchmarking reports.
• Develop Value Engineering and Life Cycle Costing options.
• Identify risks, support risk registers, and contribute to pre-contract and procurement processes.
• Attend client and design team meetings, advise on cost implications, and capture key actions.
• Assist with lease negotiations, change orders, invoices, cost reports, and development appraisals.
• Contribute to project templates, draft qualification questionnaires, and take on additional duties as required.
