About The Position

Topcon Healthcare is seeking a motivated, enthusiastic, and experienced Senior Cost Accounting Manager to join a dynamic global finance team. As the co-leader of the Topcon Canada Finance department, the Senior Cost Accounting Manager will partner with a team of three and own responsibility for Accounting & Reporting for all Supply Chain related accounts and activities, including Inventory and Accounts Receivable. Other key objectives of this role include business partnering with Sales, Purchasing, Warehouse & Operations, as well as periodic budgeting and forecasting.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree with a major in accounting or finance field
• 5+ years of experience in a finance or accounting role
• Extremely detail-oriented with excellent reasoning & analytical skills
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Must be a self-motivated, independent yet collaborative team player, eager to learn

Nice To Haves

• CPA preferred
• SAP Experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Oversee monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statement presentation, with a focus on Supply Chain accounting
• Partner with Purchasing function to forecast demand and process site-based purchase orders
• Drive improvement in financial operation metrics, with a focus on Inventory Months-on-Hand and A/R Turnover
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards
• Develop and maintain internal control framework
• Manage budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis
• Mentor finance team members
• Collaborate with auditors for quarterly reviews and annual audit
