About The Position

The Senior Analyst supports the Global Cost and Inventory Consolidation team in delivering consistent, enterprise-wide costing and inventory reporting to enable enhanced management insights across Perrigo. Reporting to the team’s Manager, this role is accountable for the ongoing execution, maintenance, and value realization of the global costing solution within S/4HANA Central Finance (CFIN). This role improves the flow and accountability of processes and information and/or provides management with detailed cost data not ordinarily supplied by the general accounting systems by collaborating with the Controller to devise, implement, and administer systems. It performs routine and special cost analyses to support the company’s manufacturing effort in accordance with corporate and divisional policies and procedures by preparing various routing and special reports and analyses and by providing adequate and accurate manufacturing cost information. The role participates and assists in the preparation and analysis of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements by performing routine function involving shared resources, reduced value inventory, inventory returns, credit memos, etc. and by providing information requested by other accounting personnel. It also assists in the training and development of personnel in the understanding of standard costing and production variances.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree with a minimum of 6 years of progressive experience in a large corporate environment, demonstrating a proven ability to address and resolve complex business challenges
  • Strong understanding of financial accounting, auditing practices, and the control environment of a publicly traded company, including U.S. GAAP
  • Experience working with SAP, with a solid understanding of inventory and cost data structures and processes
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, PowerPoint, and Word
  • Foundational knowledge of SOX compliance and internal control requirements

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with or interest in process automation, including scripting and task automation tools, is highly desirable
