About The Position

The Senior Corporate Counsel position plays a vital role in overseeing contract negotiations for our organization in the United States and Canada. This position requires a seasoned legal professional with expertise in telecommunications law, contract negotiation, and a good understanding of state and federal regulatory requirements.

Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school and admission to the bar in the relevant jurisdiction.
Minimum of seven (7) years of legal experience with a focus on contract negotiation in the telecommunications industry.

Responsibilities

Collaborate with internal stakeholders to draft, review, and negotiate a variety of complex contracts, including vendor agreements, customer contracts, and other business agreements under time constraints and unequal bargaining positions.
Ensure that all contracts adhere to applicable laws and regulations in the telecommunications industry.
Identify and assess legal risks associated with business contracts and provide strategic advice to mitigate risks.
Work closely with cross-functional teams, including finance, operations, and procurement, to understand business needs and align legal strategies with organizational objectives.
Assist in the resolution of contractual disputes, including providing legal analysis, negotiation support, and advising on dispute resolution strategies.
