About The Position

As a Software Engineer on Team Nyla, you will bring your technical creativity and collaborative energy to design, build, maintain, and enhance complex software components tailored to exact customer needs. Working independently or alongside a team of brilliant, ever-curious engineers, you’ll tackle everything from hardware/software trade-offs and COTS/GOTS integration to end-to-end component testing and problem resolution. Requirements

  • ACTIVE SECURITY CLEARANCE AT THE TS/SCI POLYGRAPH LEVEL IS REQUIRED
  • Proven ability to build, maintain, and enhance complex software systems using industry-standard design methodologies across the full development lifecycle.
  • Hands-on experience reviewing code, resolving software problem reports (SPRs), and testing software components against documented design requirements.
  • Track record of analyzing system-level requirements and breaking them down into modular software components, including evaluating hardware/software trade-offs and software reuse.
  • Ability to evaluate and integrate Commercial Off-the-Shelf (COTS) and Government Off-the-Shelf (GOTS) solutions in place of custom development where optimal.
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, or a related technical discipline, PLUS 14 + years of professional software engineering experience OR High School Diploma / GED , PLUS 18+ years of hands-on technical software development experience in lieu of a degree.

Responsibilities

  • Design, build, maintain, and enhance complex software components tailored to exact customer needs.
