About The Position

We are seeking a Senior Core Java Engineer to design, develop, and support high-performance, scalable enterprise applications. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Core Java, distributed systems, backend engineering, and software design principles.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
  • 7+ years of experience in software development with a strong focus on Java.
  • Strong expertise in Core Java, object-oriented programming, multithreading, collections, concurrency, and JVM internals.
  • Experience designing and developing enterprise-scale applications and distributed systems.
  • Strong understanding of software design patterns, data structures, and algorithms.
  • Experience building RESTful APIs and service-oriented architectures.
  • Strong knowledge of relational databases such as Oracle, SQL Server, PostgreSQL, or MySQL.
  • Experience with version control tools such as Git.
  • Familiarity with Linux/Unix environments and scripting.
  • Strong debugging, troubleshooting, and performance tuning skills.
  • Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving abilities.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with Spring Boot, Spring Framework, and microservices architecture.
  • Experience with messaging technologies such as Kafka, RabbitMQ, or JMS.
  • Familiarity with containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.
  • Exposure to cloud platforms including AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
  • Knowledge of NoSQL databases such as MongoDB, Cassandra, or DynamoDB.
  • Experience working in highly regulated or large-scale enterprise environments.

Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, test, and maintain robust, scalable, and highly available Java-based applications.
  • Develop backend services, APIs, and microservices to support business-critical applications.
  • Participate in system architecture, technical design, and code reviews to ensure high-quality deliverables.
  • Optimize application performance, scalability, reliability, and security.
  • Troubleshoot production issues and implement sustainable solutions.
  • Collaborate with product owners, business stakeholders, architects, and development teams to deliver technical solutions aligned with business objectives.
  • Contribute to Agile development processes, including sprint planning, estimation, and retrospectives.
  • Advocate and implement software engineering best practices, coding standards, and development frameworks.
  • Mentor and guide junior developers, fostering technical growth and knowledge sharing.
  • Stay current with emerging technologies and recommend improvements to existing systems and processes.
