About The Position

Wedgewood Health is an established and growing, full‑service healthcare agency with 35+ years in business, focused on life‑altering and rare diseases. We are seeking a Senior Copywriter who can translate complex scientific and clinical information into compelling, strategically driven brand communications that engage healthcare professionals, patients, and other key audiences across channels. As a Senior Copywriter, you will play a critical role in shaping brand voice, campaign messaging, and omnichannel content for pharmaceutical and healthcare clients. You will partner closely with art directors, strategists, account teams, medical reviewers, and clients to develop creative concepts and content that are both emotionally resonant and scientifically accurate. This role requires a strong balance of creativity, strategic thinking, attention to detail, and comfort working within regulated environments. The ideal candidate is an experienced healthcare or pharmaceutical writer who thrives in a collaborative agency setting, enjoys solving complex communication challenges, and can confidently contribute to both conceptual campaign development and executional copywriting. You should be comfortable managing multiple projects simultaneously, presenting ideas to internal and client teams, and mentoring junior writers as you continue to grow your leadership skills. In this role, you will contribute to a wide range of deliverables, including brand positioning and messaging, digital campaigns, websites, emails, social content, sales materials, video scripts, and integrated omnichannel initiatives. You will also help ensure all communications align with brand strategy, client objectives, regulatory considerations, and Wedgewood Health’s core values of Wonder, Truth, and Unity.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in English, science, or related field
  • 2+ years of professional copywriting experience
  • Excellent writing and presentation skills
  • Strong skills with reference formatting (AMA or client-specific)
  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
  • Experience across digital and print channels
  • Familiarity with SEO and digital content best practices

Nice To Haves

  • Knowledge of regulated industries or scientific content preferred

Responsibilities
