You'll handle day-to-day copy needs across email, social, and digital channels while also stepping up as a creative lead on key campaigns and initiatives. You'll be a key partner to the Brand Marketing Director on strategy work and help elevate the craft and thinking across the team.

Requirements

  • 6–8+ years of professional copywriting experience, with a track record of leading creative on brand campaigns (in-house, agency, or a mix).
  • Strong portfolio showing strategic thinking and craft across digital channels—email, ads, social, landing pages, video scripts, etc.
  • Experience managing or maintaining multiple brand voices within a portfolio.
  • Ability to shift between scrappy execution and polished, big-idea work.
  • Excellent editing and proofreading skills with strong attention to detail.
  • Comfortable operating autonomously in a fast-paced, remote-first environment.

  • Passion for outdoor adventure, travel, or lifestyle brands a strong plus.

Responsibilities

  • Write and edit copy for email, SMS, push, social, digital ads, landing pages, and in-product messaging across both Boatsetter and Getmyboat.
  • Serve as creative lead on priority campaigns—developing concepts, shaping narratives, and ensuring executional excellence from brief to launch.
  • Partner with the Brand Marketing Director on brand strategy, messaging frameworks, and creative direction.
  • Maintain and evolve distinct brand voices for Boatsetter and Getmyboat while ensuring consistency within each.
  • Collaborate with designers, marketers, and product managers to concept and execute work that drives engagement and conversion.
  • Translate strategic goals into sharp, compelling, customer-friendly language.
  • Iterate quickly based on data, testing, and feedback—and bring a POV on what's working and why.
