About The Position

The Senior Coordinator, Rural Health Transformation will support the implementation of SciTech Scity's Rural Health Transformation initiatives by coordinating projects, managing stakeholder engagement, and ensuring the successful execution of innovative healthcare programs across rural communities throughout New Jersey. This role will work closely with program managers, health systems, community organizations, technology companies, government agencies, and clinical partners to coordinate activities across the implementation lifecycle—from planning and stakeholder engagement through deployment, evaluation, and replication. This position is ideal for a highly organized, proactive professional who enjoys managing multiple priorities, coordinating complex projects, and working across diverse stakeholder groups to improve healthcare delivery. The Senior Coordinator will report to the Rural Health Program Manager and work collaboratively with the Senior Director and SciTech Scity team. This position requires travel throughout the State of New Jersey, with a significant portion of travel taking place in South Jersey. This is a grant-funded position with current funding secured for a four-year period. Continued employment is contingent upon the ongoing availability of grant funds.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree required.
  • A valid driver's license is required. Candidates must have reliable access to a vehicle to support regular travel to partner sites.
  • 3–5 years of professional experience in healthcare, project coordination, nonprofit management, consulting, public health, research, startups, or a related field.
  • Working knowledge of U.S. healthcare landscape, including innovation trends, regulatory frameworks, and payment models
  • Ability to work collaboratively with a team and manage multiple priorities at once
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to tailor messaging for diverse stakeholders including clinicians, executives, startups, and policymakers

  • Experience supporting grant-funded programs, government initiatives, healthcare implementation, or multi-organizational collaborations preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Support day-to-day execution of multiple Rural Health Transformation initiatives, ensuring project activities remain on schedule and stakeholders are informed.
  • Support development and maintenance of project plans, implementation timelines, meeting agendas, and action trackers.
  • Coordinate meetings, follow-up items, and communication among health systems, technology partners, community organizations, and internal teams.
  • Maintain project documentation, implementation dashboards, and status reports.
  • Proactively identify project risks and escalate issues to program leadership.
  • Support vendor onboarding, procurement documentation, contract routing, and implementation logistics in coordination with internal teams.
  • Prepare meeting materials, track action items, coordinate follow-up activities, and support communications for meetings with the New Jersey Department of Human Services and other government partners.
  • Coordinate travel, site visits, implementation schedules, training logistics, and meeting logistics for project teams and external partners.
  • Lead communication with clinical leaders, operational teams, community organizations, and external partners.
  • Assist with onboarding, scheduling, training coordination, and implementation logistics.
  • Help build and maintain strong relationships with participating organizations throughout implementation.
  • Prepare presentations, executive briefings, meeting materials, and reports.
  • Track project milestones, deliverables, budgets, invoices, procurement activities, and grant reporting requirements.
  • Facilitate cross-functional meetings, workshops, and collaborative working sessions.
  • Support grant administration, reporting, and documentation activities.
  • Maintain organized project documentation, stakeholder contact databases, implementation records, and document repositories.
  • Maintain implementation dashboards and project management tools to support reporting and coordination across multiple initiatives.
  • Conduct background research to support implementation planning, partner engagement, funding opportunities, and evaluation activities.
  • Assist with implementation readiness assessments and solution evaluations.
  • Collect and organize qualitative and quantitative implementation data.
  • Help document lessons learned, best practices, and implementation resources.
  • Assist with developing partner communications, newsletters, and program updates.
  • Coordinate logistics for site visits, events, and stakeholder convenings.
  • Support outreach to prospective partners and maintain stakeholder engagement materials.
  • Contribute to development of implementation playbooks, templates, and operational resources.
