About The Position

We are hiring immediately for a full time SENIOR COOK position. This role involves preparing food to ensure it is nutritious and properly flavored in accordance with applicable federal, state, local and company standards, guidelines and regulations. The position may oversee the cooking activities of food service associates as assigned by the Food Service Director. The Senior Cook prepares various entrees and menu items following established recipes, operates and cleans equipment after each use, and performs scheduled routine cleaning. Responsibilities also include storing, labeling, and dating food items according to policy, helping to maintain organized storage of dry goods and refrigerated and frozen products, and following HACCP guidelines to ensure quality and safety of the food supply. The role requires compliance with federal, state, and local health and sanitation regulations and department sanitation procedures. The Senior Cook assists the Food Service Director in maintaining accurate daily production records and completes all required documentation, reports, and logs as assigned, and assists in the cross-training of employees. This is a full-time position with a schedule of days that may vary, from 9:00 am to 6:00 pm, and requires working holidays.
