About The Position

We are hiring immediately for a full time SENIOR COOK position. This role involves preparing food to ensure it is nutritious and properly flavored in accordance with applicable federal, state, local and company standards, guidelines and regulations. The Senior Cook may oversee the cooking activities of food service associates as assigned by the Food Service Director. Responsibilities include preparing various entrees and menu items following established recipes, operating and cleaning equipment after each use, and performing scheduled routine cleaning. Additionally, the role requires storing, labeling, and dating food items according to policy, maintaining organized storage of dry goods and refrigerated and frozen products, and following HACCP guidelines to ensure quality and safety of the food supply. Compliance with federal, state, and local health and sanitation regulations and department sanitation procedures is essential. The Senior Cook will also assist the Food Service Director in maintaining accurate daily production records and completing all required documentation, reports, and logs as assigned, and will assist in the cross-training of employees.
