Senior Cook (Full Time)
About The Position
ESS Support Services Worldwide is hiring immediately for full-time Senior Cook positions. This role involves preparing nutritious and properly flavored food in accordance with company and regulatory standards. The position is located at a remote jobsite in Alaska and operates on a rotational schedule of up to 4 weeks on and 2 weeks off. ESS Support Services Worldwide is a leading provider of comprehensive support services, specializing in food and facility maintenance for clients and their employees on remote land sites. Our team is dedicated to delivering unparalleled guest services, supporting every aspect of daily community life for our clients' resident workers 365 days a year, 24 hours a day.
Requirements
- Remote jobsite experience required.
Responsibilities
- Oversee the cooking activities of food service associates as assigned by Food Service Director.
- Prepare various entrees and menu items following established recipes.
- Operate and clean equipment after each use.
- Perform scheduled routine cleaning.
- Store, label and date food items according to policy.
- Help maintain organized storage of dry goods and refrigerated and frozen products.
- Follow HACCP guidelines to ensure quality and safety of food supply.
- Comply with federal, state and local health and sanitation regulations and department sanitation procedures.
- Assist Food Service Director in maintaining accurate daily production records and completes all required documentation, reports, and logs as assigned.
- Assist in the cross training of employees.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
