About The Position

ZipStaff is hiring a Senior Conversational AI Designer for a client described as a leading U.S. healthcare technology organization. The role is a primary conversational design expert partnering with product and engineering teams to create exceptional chat and voice experiences, anticipate customer needs and intents, and develop intuitive dialogue strategies that feel natural and seamless. The designer will create complex conversational experiences, including AI- and LLM-powered solutions, and ensure conversations and logic align with strategy, voice, tone, and brand standards. They will translate insights from engineering, product, and business stakeholders into conversational solutions. Candidates selected for an interview must complete an identity verification process.

Requirements

At least 4 years of hands-on experience designing highly complex chat and voice conversational experiences.
At least 1 year of hands-on experience designing innovative conversational AI solutions.
Proven knowledge of LLMs, bot platforms, and prompt engineering best practices.
Demonstrated ability to partner with engineering, product, and business stakeholders.
Strong ownership, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
A digital portfolio or work samples of relevant AI or conversational projects.
