About The Position

Campos Fabrication is seeking a Senior Electrical Panel Shop Assembler experienced in assembling, wiring, and testing electrical control panels. The role focuses primarily on wiring panels and requires proficiency in that work. The assembler contributes high-quality workmanship and team success in a fast-paced environment while following industry standards, safety regulations, and approved workmanship standards.

Requirements

A minimum of 4 years of panel assembly experience.
High school diploma or GED.
Knowledge and experience with electrical wiring, control panels, and instrumentation.
Proficiency in wiring electrical panels.
Ability to interpret blueprints and schematics.
Commitment to high-quality workmanship and compliance with industry standards and safety regulations.

Responsibilities

Assemble, terminate, and wire electrical panels and electrical boxes using specified tooling and approved workmanship standards, including complete installation into enclosures.
Perform point-to-point wiring on a variety of electrical panels and power distribution electrical boxes using company-supplied hand tools such as crimpers and wire strippers.
Read and interpret schematic drawings, diagrams, blueprints, specifications, work orders, and reports to determine material requirements or assembly instructions.
Position, align, or adjust work pieces or electrical parts to facilitate wiring or assembly.
Lay out components in cabinets of various sizes.
Test electrical control panels.
