About The Position

WebBeds, a global B2B organization servicing the travel industry, is seeking a Senior Contracts Manager for its operations in California. This role is crucial for expanding WebBeds’ supplier network by identifying, negotiating, and securing new hotel contracts. The Senior Contracts Manager will also be responsible for managing and developing relationships with existing suppliers, driving revenue generation, and implementing contracting strategies in line with company objectives. The position requires a strong understanding of hotel distribution, connectivity systems, and revenue management principles. The successful candidate will oversee contract lifecycle management, ensure data accuracy and compliance, and represent WebBeds at industry events. Travel within the assigned region is expected to support business development and supplier engagement.

Requirements

  • Extensive experience in contracting, sales, or account management within the travel and tourism industry.
  • Strong negotiation skills with proven experience managing agreements and closing commercial terms.
  • Sound knowledge of hotel distribution, connectivity ecosystems, and CRS platforms.
  • Strong commercial awareness and understanding of revenue management principles, including pricing and demand optimisation.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools, particularly Excel, Word, and Outlook, with experience using CRM systems.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders.
  • Strong organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities, deadlines, and projects.
  • High attention to detail and accuracy, particularly in contract management and data handling.
  • Problem-solving mindset with the ability to identify issues and implement practical solutions.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within cross-functional teams.
  • Adaptable and resilient in a fast-paced, performance-driven environment.
  • Willingness and availability to travel as required.

Responsibilities

  • Identify, negotiate, and secure new hotel contracts to expand WebBeds’ supplier network within the assigned territory.
  • Manage and develop relationships with existing suppliers, ensuring strong performance, engagement, and long-term partnerships.
  • Achieve contracting targets and contribute to revenue growth by identifying new business opportunities and maximising supplier production.
  • Support and implement contracting strategies in line with company objectives and regional goals.
  • Work closely with leadership to ensure revenue from the assigned territory meets or exceeds budget expectations.
  • Drive business through direct contracts, ensuring competitive rates, availability, and product quality.
  • Analyse market trends and identify new revenue streams and business opportunities within the territory.
  • Oversee the creation, input, validation, and maintenance of contracts within internal systems, ensuring data accuracy and compliance.
  • Facilitate communication and coordination with suppliers to support contract execution and ongoing performance.
  • Maintain professional and effective communication with internal teams and external partners, ensuring alignment and clarity.
  • Represent WebBeds at internal meetings, trade shows, and industry events as required.
  • Travel within the assigned region as needed to support supplier engagement and business development.
  • Demonstrate knowledge of hotel connectivity systems, including channel managers and CRS platforms, to audit rate plans and ensure data consistency.
  • Engage with hotel revenue teams, applying pricing, forecasting, and yield management principles to optimise commercial outcomes.
  • Provide regular updates and reports to senior management on contracting activity, performance, and opportunities.
