Position Summary Join CVS Health as a Senior Contracts Manager and lead the negotiation, development, and execution of complex IT and Non‑IT agreements that power our enterprise. In this high‑impact role, you’ll guide a team of contracting professionals, partner with senior executives, and influence strategic initiatives across the organization.

Requirements

7+ years professional experience
5+ years contracts experience, including drafting and negotiating complex agreements
3+ years advising senior leaders on contract risks and strategy
Proven ability to manage high‑volume, high‑complexity negotiations
Ability to work a hybrid schedule at a CVS HUB: Tuesday, Wednesday and two Thursdays a month.
Bachelor’s degree required or similar experience required

Nice To Haves

Experience with Ariba (or similar contract management systems)
Experience in healthcare or retail procurement
JD, MBA, or relevant advanced degree
Professional certifications (C.P.M., C.P.P.O., C.F.C.M., C.P.C.M.)
Experience leading and developing teams

Responsibilities

Lead drafting, negotiation, and finalization of complex vendor contracts while managing risk and maximizing enterprise value.
Serve as the escalation point for contract issues, advising senior leaders on legal, commercial, and compliance risks.
Partner across Legal, Sourcing, Security, Privacy, Tax, Finance, and other SMEs to ensure alignment with policies and regulations.
Support enterprise initiatives including supplier integration, M&A activities, and enterprise‑wide cost‑saving projects.
Manage and mentor a high‑performing team across multiple locations.
Maintain and enhance contract templates, processes, and purchasing policies.
Provide guidance on contractual rights/obligations and support supplier performance, compliance, and improvement efforts.
Represent Procurement in business reviews, stakeholder meetings, and educational sessions to reinforce contracting best practices.
