Job Description Are you ready to contribute your expertise to mission-critical projects supporting national defense and federal agency operations? TechSilo is seeking a Senior Admin Support / Records Management professional as proposed Key Personnel for an upcoming contract to provide expert records lifecycle management and administrative support for the U.S. Trade and Development Agency’s (USTDA) Information Resource Center. This position is contingent upon contract award.

Requirements

  • Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust or agency-required background investigation; SECRET clearance required.
  • High school diploma required; associate’s or bachelor’s degree preferred (information management, library science, business/public administration, records/archives management, or related).
  • 10+ years of related professional experience, including 5+ years of federal records management with FOIA responsibilities.
  • Demonstrated experience with federal records lifecycle management, NARA coordination, and FOIA support.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, records tracking tools, scanning/imaging tools, and electronic and physical file management.
  • Strong written and verbal communication, customer service, and organizational skills; ability to manage multiple deadlines and handle physical records/boxes.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in a federal Information Resource Center, library, or records office.
  • Familiarity with SharePoint, electronic records management systems, document management platforms, FOIA tracking tools, and basic AV support.
  • Experience supporting records audits, self-assessments, and staff training.

Responsibilities

  • Managing central agency files and records across their lifecycle in line with federal and NARA requirements.
  • Organizing, scanning, and converting paper records to electronic systems and maintaining file structures, naming conventions, and access controls.
  • Monitoring records retention, disposition, and transfer activities; coordinating with NARA on schedules, transfers, and reporting.
  • Supporting FOIA-related information management (search, retrieval, organization, tracking of responsive records).
  • Maintaining library holdings databases and supporting Information Resource Center and general office administration.
  • Providing records management briefings/training and basic audiovisual support for meetings and events.
