The primary purpose of this position is to actively participate in the design, integration, and delivery of a wide range of technology solutions to clients. This position will also provide mentorship, guidance and technical leadership to engineers and associate engineers. Integrate and deliver a wide range of technology solutions providing high quality content deliverables ensuring solution is implemented as designed to the client’s satisfaction and approval.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree and 5+ years total Information Technology experience, to include experience in delivering complex technical solutions, including planning, development, implementation, and support. Or, 9+ years total Information Technology experience, to include experience in delivering complex technical solutions, including planning, development, implementation, and support.
  • Candidate must demonstrate the ability to multitask and prioritize workload under tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment and able to manage and escalate technical issues to the appropriate vendor support team.
  • Possess strong organizational, time-management, problem-solving, and follow-up skills.
  • Ability to design and architect various types of infrastructure solutions and perform advanced installation and configuration services.
  • Knowledge of vendor-supplied brands is also required.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills are essential, with the ability to effectively interact with leadership stakeholders and clients.
  • Candidate should maintain a professional, business-focused attitude and courteous manner towards clients, partners, and peers.
  • Ability to identify and deliver technical documentation that meets client-defined expectations.
  • Strong attention to detail, especially client and project changes, and have demonstrated analytical skills to identify potential risks.
  • Experience balancing competing priorities with the ability to adapt to the changing needs of the business while meeting deadlines.
  • Should have demonstrated experience applying lessons learned to unique problems and a history of reskilling on new technologies with the ability to determine benefits for clients.

Nice To Haves

  • Additional Microsoft certifications such as AZ-305, AZ-700, or SC-300, a plus.
  • Experience with scripting languages like PowerShell or Python, a plus
  • Exposure to cloud automation and DevOps methodologies, a plus.
  • Familiarity with ITIL framework and service management best practices, a plus.
  • Experience working within an Agile team environment, a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Provide technical leadership to the Azure Cloud Managed Services Team and level 2 and 3 support for cloud managed services customers.
  • Work through an on-call rotation with team members to cover cloud managed services accounts.
  • Serve as technical escalation point for Azure Managed Services Resources.
  • Regularly interface with technical and business staff of customers, including the project sponsor and stakeholders of projects in more complex engagements.
  • Mentor other engineers to apply engineering background knowledge for project design, analysis, and project coordination of services or products.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and customers to execute technical change implementations and problem resolutions, manage expectations and timelines to ensure expectations and commitments are being met.
  • Work with CI/CD pipelines and automation tools to support cloud deployment strategies.
  • Serve as a collaborative support across internal teams and clients when necessary, using experience and judgment to communicate effectively to all parties.
  • Serve as technical point of contact on customer engagements taking control of complex or vague problems and coordinating resolutions in a rational way.
  • Assist in infrastructure automation efforts using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools
  • Provide customer support and delivery excellence for cloud design, management, automation, and integration within Azure environments, perform routine monitoring, maintenance, and troubleshooting of Azure environments.
