The Senior Consultant will need to understand import valuation and the trade agreements that Canada is a party to. They will need to have the ability to manage their projects and work closely with the team to complete the projects within the required time limits. You should have the ability to develop opportunities in the various aspects of customs from our Canadian and international offices. You must be comfortable working closely with clients, staff, the CBSA and other government agencies. Strong communication skills will be required to be able achieve your goals with clients, the government and the team. Classify our clients’ products using a working knowledge and demonstrated ability to properly navigate and interpret the Harmonized Tariff System. You must possess the ability to read, understand and apply the general rules of interpretation (GRI’s), section & chapter notes and have a good understanding of Customs' rulings, including Customs' ruling database.
