About The Position

As a Senior Consultant in the Print Practice Group, you will serve as a subject matter expert in supply chain logistics, printing and packaging solutions, and materials management. Your role will focus on optimizing efficiency, cost-effectiveness, and sustainability for Fortune 1000 clients. You will analyze client infrastructure, vendor contracts, and pricing structures to identify cost-saving opportunities, lead complex negotiations with vendors, and deliver actionable insights and presentations to client stakeholders. This role requires a strategic thinker who thrives in a fast-paced consulting environment, enjoys solving complex problems, and is passionate about driving value for clients.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • Minimum 7-15 years of experience in consulting, vendor management, or business analysis
  • Deep functional expertise in one or more spend categories (e.g., IT, telecom, facilities)
  • Strong analytical skills and proficiency in Excel; ability to synthesize large data sets
  • Proven experience developing solutions in complex client environments
  • Exceptional communication and client-facing presentation skills
  • Project management experience and familiarity with tools to manage deliverables such as SmartSheet and Project Management CRM strategies
  • Expertise in supply chain logistics, printing and packaging solutions, and materials management
  • Knowledge of vendor negotiations, industry best practices, and process optimization
  • Experience in packaging (corrugate, films, plastics, adhesives, foams)
  • Experience in pallet management (sourcing, optimization, different materials)
  • Experience in printing operations (commercial and industrial printing services)
  • Experience in optimizing the use of lumber or steel products
  • Understanding of how indexes and market environment drive costs and best practices for mitigating change

Responsibilities

  • Analyzing client infrastructure, vendor contracts, and pricing structures to identify cost-saving opportunities
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to develop solutions tailored to client needs
  • Leading complex negotiations with vendors to secure favorable terms on behalf of clients
  • Deliver actionable insights and present findings to client stakeholders
  • Proactively identify client challenges and recommend strategic and operational solutions that exceed expectations
  • Stay informed of industry trends and emerging technologies within your domain
  • Create and refine deliverables such as data analyses, reports, and client presentations as it relates to creating additional value
  • Serve as an internal resource for functional expertise and thought leadership
  • Work independently on projects or as a contributor on larger engagements
  • Take ownership of projects from ideation through execution, often in situations with limited direction or defined processes
  • Focus on proactively driving progress, setting clear objectives, and ensuring timely delivery of results
  • Facilitate and lead internal meetings with confidence, aligning stakeholders across functions, navigating ambiguity, and championing initiatives that push projects forward without waiting for instruction
