We’re looking for experienced Senior Consultants to lead meaningful pieces of large-scale technology initiatives for our clients, bringing clarity, ownership, and direction to complex programs. From advisory engagements to digital transformation efforts, our team helps organizations turn ambitious goals into measurable results. In this role, you’ll do more than manage timelines and tasks. You’ll lead workstreams, build trust with stakeholders, create visibility across teams, and help clients make progress through ambiguity. You’ll immerse yourself in the business and technology landscape, bridge gaps between stakeholders, and facilitate alignment across product, engineering, operations, and leadership teams to drive successful outcomes. We’re seeking Senior Consultants who can navigate complexity, manage competing priorities, coach others, and create value throughout the project lifecycle.

Requirements

  • Ideally 5+ years of experience in consulting, technology transformation, digital delivery, business operations, product, program delivery, or a similar client-facing environment.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to turn ambiguous challenges into clear recommendations, next steps, and delivery plans.
  • Excellent communication skills, including the ability to translate complex technical or operational concepts into business-friendly language.
  • Proven ability to build relationships across business, product, technology, operations, and executive teams.
  • Experience leading workstreams, managing project responsibilities, or owning major components of client delivery.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage priorities, timelines, deliverables, risks, and stakeholders across complex initiatives.
  • Ability to operate independently while knowing when to escalate, ask questions, or bring others into the conversation.
  • Comfort operating in fast-paced environments where priorities and requirements evolve.
  • High self-awareness, openness to feedback, and a strong sense of ownership for individual and team outcomes.
  • Experience working with technical teams, business stakeholders, or cross-functional groups to clarify needs, evaluate tradeoffs, and drive alignment.
  • Familiarity with software delivery, digital transformation, enterprise platforms, cloud, CRM, ERP, data, analytics, or related technology initiatives.
  • Ability to understand system impacts, dependencies, risks, and delivery considerations without needing to be the deepest technical expert in the room.
  • Experience working in Agile, Scaled Agile, hybrid delivery, or similar collaborative environments.
  • Ability to connect business objectives to technology delivery, operating model changes, process improvements, or measurable outcomes.
  • Comfort identifying where a project may be misaligned across business priorities, technology constraints, stakeholder expectations, or delivery realities.
  • Ability to translate complex information into clear plans, recommendations, materials, and narratives that support decision-making.
  • Experience creating executive-ready deliverables such as status reports, decision documents, roadmaps, dashboards, meeting materials, implementation plans, or operating models.
  • Ability to identify risks, dependencies, open questions, and opportunities for improvement across complex initiatives.
  • Comfort measuring progress and outcomes through KPIs, metrics, and other indicators of business value.
  • Proven ability to manage timelines, coordinate stakeholders, and keep work moving without needing every step defined in advance.
  • Ability to bring practical solutions to client challenges rather than simply identifying problems.
  • Comfort communicating status, risks, decisions, and recommendations to both client stakeholders and internal Torq leadership.
  • Ability to support and guide junior team members through clear expectations, feedback, context-setting, and work review.
  • Comfort setting high but realistic standards for quality, communication, and follow-through.
  • Ability to stay composed under pressure and help teams remain focused during complex or fast-moving situations.

  • Experience with tools such as Jira, Confluence, Microsoft Project, Asana, Trello, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, Slack, SharePoint, or Zoom.
  • Experience supporting proposals, client presentations, sales conversations, or business development efforts.
  • Experience with launch planning, change management, process improvement, UAT, release readiness, or operational transformation.
  • Experience leading workshops, executive meetings, stakeholder interviews, or cross-functional planning sessions.
  • Experience mentoring junior consultants, reviewing deliverables, or helping manage team performance.
  • Experience working across multiple practices, functions, or client teams to solve complex business and technology problems.
  • Consulting or industry experience in any of the following industries can be valuable: Insurance, Airline, or Automotive industries.

Responsibilities

  • Lead workstreams across complex digital transformation, technology delivery, business operations, or enterprise program initiatives.
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders across sales, marketing, product, operations, finance, and leadership to define requirements and align initiatives with business objectives.
  • Partner with IT and digital teams to evaluate tradeoffs, identify risks, and implement solutions that meet project goals.
  • Create structure around ambiguous problems by developing work plans, project roadmaps, decision documents, operating models, and implementation plans.
  • Ensure project deliverables meet quality standards through effective planning, risk management, stakeholder management, and adherence to best practices.
  • Translate complex project details into clear, compelling narratives for stakeholders, including executive leadership.
  • Develop and track KPIs and metrics that drive business value, providing actionable insights and recommendations to stakeholders.
  • Identify risks, dependencies, open questions, and opportunities for improvement across complex initiatives.
  • Facilitate meetings, workshops, working sessions, and stakeholder conversations that drive alignment and decision-making.
  • Lead junior team members by providing direction, reviewing work, sharing context, and helping raise the quality of team output.
  • Support business development efforts by identifying client needs, contributing to proposals, developing solution ideas, and participating in sales presentations.
