About The Position

MOXFIVE is looking for individuals driven to protect clients, eliminate threat actors, and build the next era of digital forensics and incident response for the modern enterprise. This role involves eradicating adversaries across a client's entire digital footprint, demanding a faster, nimbler approach to DFIR. The Senior Consultant will join a seasoned team of high performing incident response consultants, supporting and leading meaningful cases across traditional enterprise and cloud-native environments. As a startup, the role offers significant influence in shaping the technology stack, investigative methodology, and service offerings.

Requirements

• Experience responding to threat activity as an IR consultant or SOC analyst.
• Strong understanding of Windows/Mac/Linux fundamentals, forensic artifacts, and network analysis.
• Existing knowledge or passion to learn cloud-native investigations across AWS, GCP, and Azure.
• An unwavering emphasis on investigation at the highest level of quality.
• Perspective and voice to continue to shape our practice.
• Familiarity with UTC timestamps.
• Proficiency with forensic scripts and tools.
• Keen sense for distinguishing legitimate user activity from threat actor activity.
• Experience with Windows environment investigations.
• Ability to support client teams with confidence and empathy during challenging professional situations.
• Insatiable curiosity, addiction to threat intel, and a builder mindset.

Nice To Haves

• Expanding knowledge on cloud-native forensics.
• Experience investigating account takeovers across Azure, GCP, AWS, and SaaS Apps.
