Requirements

  • Exceptional writing, editing, and verbal communication skills with experience developing communications for executive and external audiences.
  • Demonstrated experience managing stakeholder or membership-based relationships and building trusted partnerships.
  • Strong project management and organizational skills with the ability to balance multiple priorities, deadlines, and competing demands.
  • Experience working directly with senior leaders and executives in a professional advisory capacity.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work products.
  • Ability to build relationships, collaborate across teams, and work effectively in a dynamic client environment.
  • Self-starter with a proactive, solutions-oriented mindset and a willingness to take ownership of projects from start to finish.
  • US Citizenship required
  • Ability to obtain DHS Suitability.
  • Bachelor's degree
  • 5+ years of experience supporting cybersecurity, critical infrastructure, homeland security, or national security initiatives.
  • Experience supporting federal government clients, preferably within the Department of Homeland Security (DHS), the Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency (CISA), or related agencies.
  • Working knowledge of cybersecurity principles, cyber risk management, and the critical infrastructure landscape.
  • Experience managing or supporting strategic initiatives in a client-facing consulting or advisory environment.
  • Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills, including the ability to communicate technical concepts to executive and non-technical audiences.
  • Demonstrated experience facilitating meetings, building consensus, and collaborating across multidisciplinary teams.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
  • Ability to think strategically while remaining adaptable to changing client priorities and emerging mission needs.
  • Willingness to work onsite in the Washington, DC metro area.

Responsibilities

  • Support strategic cybersecurity and critical infrastructure initiatives for DHS and CISA clients.
  • Advise government leaders on complex mission challenges and develop actionable recommendations.
  • Facilitate meetings, workshops, and working groups with government, industry, and technical stakeholders.
  • Develop executive briefings, reports, strategic plans, white papers, and other client deliverables.
  • Translate complex cybersecurity concepts into clear, actionable information for technical and executive audiences.
  • Coordinate multiple client priorities while maintaining exceptional quality and responsiveness in a fast-moving environment.
  • Conduct research and analysis on emerging cybersecurity, critical infrastructure, and national security topics.
  • Build and maintain trusted relationships with clients, teammates, and external stakeholders.
  • Contribute to business development initiatives, thought leadership, and internal corporate projects.
  • Mentor junior consultants through Partner Forces' apprenticeship model and foster a collaborative team environment.
