For more information, visit www.media-sense.com The Role This role is for a Senior Consultant, based in New York. This role will report into the Director. This role will be responsible for the end-to-end analytical delivery of priority projects and retainer engagements within the function. The role entails ownership of quantitative workstreams across pitch management and media performance programs – including media buying evaluation, remuneration modelling, and commercial diagnostics - as well as ongoing media investment performance analysis. The role itself will involve a range of activities including: Expert knowledge of PowerPoint, Excel, Word and Tableau; 3rd party data such as Nielsen, SQAD, Comscore and VideoAmp. Responsible for end‑to‑end project ownership and delivery Engage in medium‑complexity client interactions with growing autonomy Deep critical thinking and robust strategic recommendations Proactively raise staffing, technical, or delivery risks to the Client Director or Analytics Director Oversee offshore output; trains and delegates work to Analysts and offshore team members Capable of supporting technical conversations and ensuring resolution of issues Continuing to develop expertise in PRIP schemes The Candidate Success requires rigorous coordination with consultants, senior analysts, managers, and client leads to ensure all analytical outputs meet defined technical specifications, adhere to methodological standards, and are delivered within established timelines

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in a media agency, consultancy, or client-side role
  • Strong knowledge of trading, investment, planning, and buying across all media channels, with deep familiarity with the US market
  • Advanced Excel skills and solid understanding of media math and analytics
  • Strong working knowledge of Nielsen, with additional experience across platforms such as Google (DV360), Meta, and Amazon DSP
  • Ability to structure and analyze data effectively, identify trends, and derive clear insights
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to explain complex concepts to varied audiences
  • Proven stakeholder management, with the ability to build strong client and agency relationships
  • Demonstrated ability to lead, mentor, and delegate to junior team members
  • Contributes to product innovation and continuous improvement
  • Strong grasp of media math, analytics and advanced user of Excel
