About The Position

Our client is an established Construction Management firm with a twenty-year track record of excellence in the commercial and government sectors. They are seeking a high-level Senior Supervisor to lead on-site operations in the Butler, PA area. This is a confidential search for a seasoned leader who possesses the depth of experience required to manage large-scale government contracts and ensure every phase of the build is executed with mechanical precision. As the Senior Supervisor, you will serve as the primary site authority and the lead coordinator for all field activities. This is not a passive oversight role; you will be responsible for driving a rigorous schedule, managing a diverse array of subcontractors, and ensuring 100% adherence to complex project specifications. This position is designed for a regional expert who understands the unique logistical and regulatory landscape of Western Pennsylvania and has the technical acumen to oversee a project of this magnitude.

Requirements

  • Extensive experience in Construction Management, with a proven track record of successfully delivering projects valued at $10M or higher.
  • Deep expertise in government-contracted work and a thorough understanding of the specific reporting and compliance rigors involved.
  • Local residency in the Greater Pittsburgh or Butler area, providing the regional knowledge necessary to navigate local site conditions and vendor networks.
  • Mastery in reading and interpreting complex architectural drawings, structural blueprints, and government specifications.
  • The professional authority to manage large, diverse crews and the communication skills to interface effectively with executive leadership.

Responsibilities

  • Provide comprehensive on-site leadership for projects size in excess $10M+ from inception through acceptance.
  • Master highly technical project plans and specifications to ensure total compliance with federal and state standards.
  • Orchestrate subcontractors and vendors to maintain a strict timeline and high-performance workflow.
  • Enforce a safe, organized, and professional job site in strict accordance with OSHA and government protocols.
  • Lead quality control inspections and proactively resolve complex field engineering or logistical issues.
  • Serve as the senior boots-on-the-ground representative for all project stakeholders and government officials.
