About The Position

AECOM is seeking a Senior Construction Scheduler to organize the moving parts of federal facility assessment and hurricane recovery work in Kauai, Hawaii. Teams may need to inspect damage, protect buildings from further water intrusion, dry interiors, clear access routes, and restore facilities and utilities, sometimes in overlapping phases. You will create an integrated schedule that shows dependencies, access constraints, procurement needs, and the critical path. Your analysis will help leaders set realistic priorities, test recovery options, and respond when field conditions or resource availability change. This role will require an onsite presence in Kauai, Hawaii and is eligible for per diem related expenses when appropriate.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in construction management, engineering, architecture, or a related field and 8+ years of developing and managing complex construction schedules for facility or infrastructure projects or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education.
  • A valid driver’s license is required, along with the ability to pass a Motor Vehicle Records (MVR) check in accordance with company policy.
  • Due to the nature of the work, US Citizenship is required.

Nice To Haves

  • 16+ years of developing and managing complex construction schedules for facility or infrastructure projects.
  • Experience scheduling federal facility construction, utility restoration, or emergency repair programs.
  • Advanced proficiency with Oracle Primavera P6 and schedule analysis.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain integrated baseline and update schedules for assessment, procurement, construction, and restoration activities.
  • Build critical path schedules, logic ties, milestones, resource assumptions, and recovery scenarios.
  • Review subcontractor schedules and progress submissions for completeness and consistency.
  • Analyze delays, schedule risks, float, and changes; recommend mitigation and resequencing actions.
  • Prepare schedule narratives, look ahead plans, dashboards, and progress reports.
  • Coordinate with construction managers, estimators, logistics, and field teams to validate activity durations and constraints.
