About The Position

Edgewater Technical Associates is seeking qualified candidates for a Senior Construction Safety Professional opportunity in Oak Ridge, TN at the Y-12 National Security Complex. This is a full-time position supporting CNS Construction. Edgewater Technical Associates, LLC (Edgewater) is a New Mexico-based small business founded in 2003, with five (5) regional offices across the United States. Edgewater has a proven track record and is a trusted provider of fixed-price construction projects, engineering, and technical services for the Department of Energy (DOE), Department of Defense (DOD), National Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC), Canadian Commercial Nuclear Industry, and private sector commercial contractors involved in nuclear, high-hazard, or complex operations. Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree and 20+ years of construction safety experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• OSHA 30 hour training for construction is required.
• Must be a U.S. Citizen
• Must be able to obtain and maintain a DOE Q Security Clearance.
• Must be able to climb ladders/stairs, work in hot/cold environments, and operate a motor vehicle.

Nice To Haves

• CSP is preferred.
• Industrial hygiene experience is a plus.
• Active DOE Q is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform project oversight inspections.
