About The Position
Team Royal is seeking a highly experienced Senior Construction Representative to support Construction Management Services (CMS) for the Kentucky Lock Addition Civil Works Mega Project, a large-scale infrastructure effort valued at approximately $400 million. This role provides construction quality assurance (QA) inspection services in an advisory capacity to ensure contractor work meets all specifications, safety standards, and contract requirements.
Requirements
- Minimum 15 years in the construction industry
- Heavy civil, marine, or mass concrete experience
- Inspection and QA experience
- RMS proficiency
- Knowledge of EM 385-1-1 and OSHA 29 CFR 1926
- OSHA 30
- High School Diploma
- Valid driver's license

Responsibilities
- Conduct on-site inspections of construction activities, materials, installation, and testing
- Verify compliance with plans, specifications, schedules, and safety requirements
- Identify deficiencies
- Review contractor quality control documentation
- Perform QA surveillance and enforce the USACE Three-Phase Quality Control System
- Prepare Daily Quality Assurance Reports using RMS
- Track deficiencies, RFIs, and corrective actions
- Maintain project files and documentation
- Provide written technical recommendations
- Participate in meetings and inspections
- Review submittals and contractor methods
- Support progress payment reviews
- Mentor junior personnel
