The Senior Construction Project Manager - Data Centers is responsible for managing fire sprinkler installation projects within data centers. This role involves positively representing the company in all customer interactions, overseeing project progression, and developing comprehensive project plans to meet schedules and budgets. The position requires monitoring projects for safety, quality, productivity, and profitability, while understanding and adhering to all published codes, standards, and project specifications. The role also involves identifying project changes that impact cost, schedule, or labor, ensuring AHJ requirements and departmental procedures are followed, and conveying professionalism and fairness. Key responsibilities include coordinating change orders, managing project expenditures, tracking installation progress, and providing responsive customer support. The Senior Construction Project Manager actively participates in various project meetings, attends inspections as a licensed representative, and coordinates with various internal teams and external stakeholders to ensure project success. This includes coordinating with the Construction Project Coordinator on schedules, inspections, and deliveries, gathering quotes for fabrication, reviewing quotes for loose materials, and performing monthly cost-to-complete reports. The role also involves coordinating long-range project planning and recommending improvements in project management procedures and company business practices.
