About The Position

RQC, LLC is hiring a Senior Construction Project Engineer for its Field Operations team at Naval Station Kings Bay in Georgia. The Project Engineer assists with all stages of commercial construction projects, from early planning and design through project closeout. Work includes supporting project administration, coordinating schedules, organizing workflows, tracking progress, and ensuring effective communication among team members. On larger projects, additional project management duties may be assigned depending on the employee’s experience, skill set, and capabilities. The role works closely with Project Managers, Superintendents, Quality Control Managers, and Site Safety and Health Officers. All work is performed on active military bases.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Business, or a related discipline; equivalent combinations of field experience and training may also be considered.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Outlook, and general internet applications.
• Previous experience as a Project Engineer.
• CPR, First Aid, and OSHA 30-hour certifications; training is available if needed.
• Must provide evidence of identity and U.S. work authorization at the time of hire.
• Must successfully pass a drug screening and commercial criminal background check, including a stricter Department of Defense background check for access to the military-base job site, if applicable.

Nice To Haves

• Familiarity with industry software such as Primavera P3/P6, Viewpoint, BIM, and Revit.
• LEED Green Associate credential.
• QCM certification.
