Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management or related field, or equivalent jobsite experience
  • 10+ years of construction management experience on public infrastructure projects
  • 5+ years of supervisory or leadership experience
  • Familiarity with WSDOT Standard Specifications and WSDOT Construction Manual
  • Proven success in proposal development and client presentations
  • Valid WA driver's license
  • Ability to work on-site in active construction environments, including walking on uneven surfaces, climbing, and exposure to varying site conditions

Nice To Haves

  • Experience leading teams or mentoring staff is a plus
  • Active Washington PE and/or CCM certification is a plus

Responsibilities

  • Lead construction management for complex transportation and municipal infrastructure projects, overseeing project delivery with a focus on quality, safety, thorough documentation, and contract compliance. Resolve field issues collaboratively and serve as senior technical resource for CM procedures and inspection practices.
  • Build and maintain strong long-term client relationships; serve as a trusted advisor to clients, agency partners, and project stakeholders.
  • Mentor and develop staff while supporting team operations, staffing, and resource planning, fostering a collaborative and high-performing team environment.
  • Support and lead business development efforts, including proposals, scope development, fee estimates, and client presentations, while identifying opportunities to expand services and strengthen market presence.
