About The Position
SureBuilt Construction Ltd is seeking expressions of interest from experienced construction professionals for future opportunities within their project delivery team. The Senior Construction Manager will provide strategic leadership across multiple residential and commercial developments, ensuring projects are delivered safely, efficiently, on budget, and to the highest standards of quality. This role requires a blend of technical construction expertise, strong commercial awareness, collaborative leadership, and a commitment to developing people.
Requirements
- Degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Architecture or a related discipline.
- Minimum 10 years' experience delivering complex construction projects.
- Demonstrated experience leading multiple concurrent projects.
- Strong knowledge of construction planning, cost control, procurement and contract administration.
- Excellent leadership, communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Experience using construction management software such as Procore, Microsoft Project or similar platforms.
Nice To Haves
- Professional certifications such as PMP, LEED, Chartered status or equivalent are advantageous.
Responsibilities
- Lead the successful delivery of multiple construction projects from pre-construction through handover.
- Drive project performance across safety, quality, cost and client satisfaction.
- Identify project risks and implement proactive mitigation strategies.
- Support continuous improvement across construction operations.
- Lead, mentor and develop Construction Managers, Site Superintendents, Site Foremen and project teams.
- Foster a culture built on accountability, collaboration and continuous improvement.
- Promote Heritage Holdings Group's values of Integrity, Community and Growth in everyday leadership.
- Build trusted relationships with clients, consultants, subcontractors and regulatory authorities.
- Represent SureBuilt professionally throughout the project lifecycle.
- Ensure proactive communication and exceptional client service.
- Review construction programs, budgets, procurement strategies and project reporting.
- Monitor financial performance, contract administration and change management.
- Ensure construction methodologies align with project objectives, quality standards and regulatory requirements.
- Champion safe work practices and regulatory compliance.
- Drive quality assurance throughout project delivery.
- Contribute to operational improvements that enhance efficiency and project outcomes.
