About The Position

The Construction Manager will oversee daily construction activities across mission critical projects and serve as a key liaison between ownership, general contractors, subcontractors, engineers, and commissioning teams. This role requires strong field leadership, construction management expertise, and the ability to manage multiple scopes simultaneously while maintaining aggressive project schedules and high-quality standards. The ideal candidate will have experience supporting large-scale data center, industrial, or mission critical construction projects with strong knowledge of MEP infrastructure and field operations.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of construction management experience.
  • Prior experience supporting data center, mission critical, industrial, or large commercial construction projects.
  • Strong understanding of MEP systems and critical infrastructure environments.
  • Experience managing subcontractors and field construction operations.
  • Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, specifications, and schedules.
  • Experience working in fast-paced, schedule-driven construction environments.
  • Strong communication and coordination skills across multiple stakeholders.
  • Proficiency with construction management software and reporting tools.
  • Knowledge of OSHA standards and construction safety best practices.
  • Must possess and maintain a valid driver’s license appropriate for the role and be eligible to operate a motor vehicle in accordance with applicable laws.
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively in a professional work environment, including preparing written reports and documentation, conveying information clearly to team members, clients, and stakeholders, and responding appropriately to verbal and written communications related to job duties.

Nice To Haves

  • Hyperscale data center project experience.
  • Experience supporting multi-phase campus developments.
  • Electrical or mechanical systems background preferred.
  • Familiarity with commissioning and startup activities.
  • Experience working directly with owner-side or developer-side teams.
  • Procore, BIM, or similar project management software experience preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Manage day-to-day construction activities across active mission critical projects.
  • Coordinate with general contractors, subcontractors, vendors, and project stakeholders.
  • Monitor project schedules, sequencing, and milestone completion.
  • Oversee field execution for civil, structural, architectural, electrical, and mechanical scopes.
  • Support installation oversight for mission critical infrastructure including: UPS systems, Switchgear, Generators, Electrical distribution systems, Cooling infrastructure, Utility and substation coordination.
  • Conduct site walks and monitor quality control throughout all phases of construction.
  • Identify and resolve field issues, schedule impacts, and coordination conflicts.
  • Participate in owner meetings, construction meetings, and progress reporting.
  • Review RFIs, submittmits, schedules, and field documentation.
  • Ensure compliance with OSHA standards, site safety protocols, and operational procedures.
  • Support commissioning coordination, turnover activities, and project closeout efforts.
  • Drive schedule adherence and assist in maintaining overall project performance.
