About The Position
Parsons is seeking a Senior Construction Manager to join its Federal Solutions team. The role supports U.S. government customers and involves contract modification activities, preparation and review of procurement and contract materials, and oversight of contractors’ plans and technical submittals. The position contributes to work supporting missions in areas including defense, security, intelligence, infrastructure, and environmental services.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in a construction-related field, or equivalent construction-related work experience.
- At least 15 years of experience in field construction.

- Experience in construction of large civil/structural and/or industrial projects at domestic and/or foreign locations.
Responsibilities
- Participate in all phases of the contract modification process.
- Assist in preparing scopes of work for requests for proposals (RFPs).
- Assist in preparing government estimates.
- Review contractors’ proposals.
- Participate in or conduct negotiations.
- Assist in preparing contract modification documentation.
- Manage the review and analysis of contractor plans and technical submittals, including progress schedules, environmental, safety and quality control programs, certifications, and shop drawings.
- Provide approval or disapproval recommendations to the COR.
