About The Position

Arcadis is seeking a Senior Construction Manager to oversee the design and construction of buildings and engineering projects. This role involves acting as an Owner's representative for new and renovation construction projects, ensuring overall quality, schedule, and performance results. The position requires a strong understanding of project management, financial reporting, contract administration, and safety compliance.

Requirements

  • Minimum 10 years of construction management experience.
  • Licensed professional or Certified Construction Manager (CCM).
  • Education background in Architecture, Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.
  • Experience preparing project master schedules, budgets and cost estimates.
  • Experience with different forms of contract procurement and contract administration.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with new construction and renovation projects through design, construction & completion.
  • Be familiar with and be able to produce project reports utilizing PMIS systems and software.

Responsibilities

  • Manage new and renovation construction projects through design, construction, and completion.
  • Provide capital planning and financial reporting on assigned projects.
  • Ensure work complies with state, local, and client requirements.
  • Review contractor schedules and prepare project master schedules, budgets, and cost estimates.
  • Analyze critical path updates, schedule progress, and evaluate schedule options.
  • Communicate schedule status to project managers, clients, and consultants.
  • Build detailed engineering cost reports, change notices, and other cost control tools.
  • Maintain project schedules and identify potential problem areas.
  • Monitor general contractor and subcontractor adherence to safety standards.
  • Prepare detailed material, labor, and equipment cost estimates for design development documents, bid documents, and change orders.
  • Estimate and negotiate change orders.
  • Evaluate RFIs, submittals, and Field Memos for cost impact.
  • Manage projects to completion on time, within budget, and within scope.
  • Produce reports and briefings using Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Utilize PMIS systems and software for project reporting.
